Paint Associate

VALLEY LUMBER & RENTAL IN VICTOR, ID. IS HIRING! PAINT ASSOCIATE The Paint Department Associate provides exemplary customer service while correctly mixing paint/stain and maintaining product back stock levels within the paint department. Duties include, but are not limited to: Correctly mix paint and stain through the use of our paint mixing software Assist customers with paint selection Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts Work to understand the needs of customers and recommend product solutions Acquire and maintain knowledge of Valley Lumber products and services Stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness and organization Assist in inventory tracking Provide exemplary phone and in-store customer service Other duties as assigned Knowledge of paint & paint mixtures a plus Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written Technological proficiency with computers and ability to navigate our point of sale and paint mixing programs Ability to stand for a standard shift (potentially up to 9 hours) Valley Lumber & Rental was founded in 2003 on the principles of service, value and quality. Located in Victor, Idaho. We sell the biggest names in hardware, hand and power tools, and power equipment. Mathematical aptitude with strong attention to detail Organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Consistently capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Must be willing and able to work on Saturdays Ability to learn and retain information on our products and services High School Diploma or GED Requirements: Pay will be determined on experience.
