Bulding Inspector & Zoning Code Compliance Officer

ZONING CODE COMPLIANCE OFFICER Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and team-player who will work with landowners to seek compliance with Land Development Regulations. Investigate alleged violations of County Land Development Regulations and meet with property owners to achieve compliance. Review plans for building permit approval and perform final inspection of construction projects to verify zoning compliance. Review and process general planning, building, and grading applications. Prepare staff reports recommending approval or denial. Hiring Range: $27.28/hour - $31.03/hour *Based on Experience

BUILDING INSPECTOR Seeking an individual with at least 1 – 3 years of experience in construction/inspection programs and with the ability to interpret and apply the building and safety standards for residential and commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities include performing inspections of buildings under construction to verify compliance with adopted building codes, counseling builders, contractors, and engineers on building codes. Hiring Range is $30.56/hr. - $34.75/ hr.
