Fiscal Specialist 2
- Summary
King County's Fleet Services Division is looking for an energetic and hardworking Fiscal Specialist 2 to join our team. This position is responsible for providing customer service and administrative support for the Fleet Services.
This Term Limited Temporary or Special Duty positon is currently approved for up to 6 months.
SCOPE OF JOB DUTIES: In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must at a minimum, be able to demonstrate skill and ability to:- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Track and code financial and accounting transactions
- Provide administrative support tasks such as data entry, email and document records management; mail sorting, filing and phone support;
- Research, enter data and audit data. Generating necessary reports;
- Provide customer service to clients and the general public that includes the regular handling difficult situations requiring tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
- Have experience performing financial accounting transactions on a daily basis OR any combination of education and experience necessary to perform the scope of job duties;
- Have experience and are comfortable working with large amounts of data and using multiple databases with ease;
- Are "out of the box thinker" who looks for new ways to solve problems;
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and working as a team;
- Are very reliable and possess great time management skills;
- Are detail oriented and a great attitude in your approach to work;
- Are comfortable with the use of Office Productivity tools in the daily work (The county uses Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Can use automated financial programs such as Oracle EBS is highly desirable.

Please note - $0.50 of the hourly wage is paid into a pension trust run by Teamsters Local 117
