Job Description: Gather, organize and analyze fertilizer market intelligence and consolidate the Itafos view:

  • Manage industry publications subscription and relationship with editors
  • Prepare Itafos regular Market Reports, consolidating inputs from assets commercial teams, publications and other sources of market intelligence
  • Consolidate and manage a consistent view on the key fertilizer markets indicators and forecasts
  • Support Investor Relations (earnings call, press releases, MD&A) on commercial inputs
  • Identify market opportunities for Itafos
  • Perform ad-hoc market analysis as required

Drive & support commercial initiatives at corporate and asset level, covering a broad range of commercial topics:

  • Topics covered: sales and go-to-market, pricing and market intelligence, logistics & cost to serve, strategic sourcing, partnerships
  • Key tasks include data gathering and analysis, in-depth qualitative and quantitative market studies, business case modelling, internal and external interviews with customers, suppliers, experts etc
  • Project work involve cross-disciplinary team management, project management and reporting
  • Support Itafos branding initiatives such as development and update of key messages for Itafos website

Contribute to Itafos profile and outreach within the Fertilize industry:

  • Develop Itafos involvement in Fertilizer Industry and outreach actions
  • Organize industry conference and events calendar

Candidate Requirements and Characteristics:

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of [3] years of work experience in market analysis
  • Strong business, commercial and financial judgement
  • Financial modelling and valuation skills (Excel expertise essential)
  • Power Point and Word expertise essential

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Ability to work in open spaces with moderate noise level
  • Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
  • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally, approximately 20% of the time

Compensation and benefits:

  • Base salary range of $80,000-$110,000
  • Cash Bonus Target 20%, Long Term Incentive 20%
  • 401k up to 9%
