Be part of a great team! Idaho State University's College of Technology seeks an Instructor, Energy Systems Electrical Technology - Second Year (2520).
Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to instruct second year Energy System Electrical Engineering Technology students. This position will also require the instructor to do work in recruitment, ABET Accreditation, and perform service or other duties as assigned by Department or College.
Minimum Qualifications
-Must be able to be certified by Idaho Career and Technical Education (CTE). (https://cte.idaho.gov/educators/certifications/)
-Associate of Applied Science Degree or state license in related field and four (4) years experience (or Bachelor's Degree in related field and two (2) years industry experience).
-Experience with power distribution equipment.
-Experience with power monitoring equipment.
-Ability to communicate technical experience and knowledge to others.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
- Protective relay equipment
- Power generation industry
- Industrial motor control
- Project management
- Previous experience as an instructor/teacher
