IT/Network Services Manager
Hail & Cotton International Group (HCIG), a global leader in tobacco sourcing, grows, purchases, processes and stores leaf tobacco for supply to manufacturers of all consumer tobacco products. HCIG has an immediate opening for an IT/Network Services Manager at its Springfield, TN corporate headquarters. The key responsibilities of this position will include:
- Manage the technology infrastructure (Microsoft Windows and Linux environments, Telecom and central Datacenter that supports over 300 users in 20+ locations around the world.
- Be a customer-focused leader for IT's help desk; ensure excellent service delivery.
- Create and maintain project plans; serve as a project leader and engage customer groups
- Initiate cooperation with other departments in areas of Change Management and Business Continuity Planning.
- Identify specific technology products and partnerships that will assist internal customers in meeting core business objectives
- Prepare annual budgets and track spending
The successful candidate will have a blend of talents that include not only the hands-on skills required to successfully manage a technology infrastructure, but also excellent communication and interpersonal skills towards all levels of the HCIG organization. As such, the job requirements will include:
- 7+ years of experience in providing IT support, with increasing roles of responsibility; at least 3 years of personnel management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in managing network and telecom services, including: configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Cisco products, Meraki firewalls, wireless, Internet/MPLS circuits, web filtering, SIP, IDS/IPS, telecom PBX solutions(Linux/Asterisk).
- 3+ years in managing Windows Servers (2012+); SQL Server 2008+, Azure Services, Office 365.
- Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate competence in using planning tools such as MS Project, BMC Remedy (ITSM) and have proven skills in resource, task and timeline planning. Prior experience with complex IT projects such as service or data center consolidations is highly desired.
- Substantial experience in managing/monitoring the quality of customer service being provided through Remedy Force. ITIL exposure would be a plus.
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office products.
- This position will require a balance of technical competence and strong customer-facing, service management skills. Candidates should be able to demonstrate prior success in both of these areas.
