team in Kentucky and Indiana by attracting exceptionally talented, bright and

team members to meet banking’s toughest challenges. You will partner with our business leaders
and build effective sourcing strategies to attract candidates. A strong
candidate for this role is resourceful, results oriented, self-motivated and
creative with an ability to plan and organize, overcome objections, as well as
receive and share difficult feedback, and ask probing questions. Travel required: Travel to college campuses regionally is required
as well as travel for conferences and other activities as needed. Travel will be approximately 20-30% with seasonal
highs in the fall and spring recruiting season. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Daily Grind – Your focus will be on attracting talent to German American Bank, supporting our strategic plans to build relationships with colleges and universities, enhancing our employer brand and candidate experience. Activities include partnering with hiring managers to screen candidates including scheduling and conducting phone interviews, posting open positions to university career sites and developing strategies to market and engage passive candidates. You’re Part of a Team – You are a member of the Talent Acquisition Team. In addition to working closely with other Talent Acquisition team members, you will also build strong connections with your Client Group leaders to understand their business needs and team dynamics and partner with our Human Capital team to stay abreast of talent needs and labor laws. Special Projects – There are lots of opportunity to grow and develop here. From centralizing the recruiting function to sharing the German American Bank opportunity with students on campus and professionals in the community. You will also take a deep dive into recruiting data to understand trends and opportunities. And you have to be able to juggle – Multiple and conflicting priorities will come up under specific time constraints. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience Ability to lead projects from brainstorm through implementation. Flexibility in work schedule and travel availability as needs campus events dictate. Demonstrated ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships Possess strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring manager and the recruiting team. Strong facilitation and presentation skills Outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work well individually and in teams. Solid reasoning, analytical, technical, mathematical and language abilities Responsible for adhering to compliance laws, regulations, and established Bank policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering. Bonus Points: Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive internet and phone searches. Cornerstone or other ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing and interview process management. Experience in college recruiting team or university career center preferred
