Director, Athletics
This is a professional-level position that manages all facets of an athletic program, including scheduling, hiring coaches, promoting programs and events, ordering equipment, constructing budgets, and facilitating operations. The Director of Athletics is primarily responsible for the Florida Gateway College athletic programs overseeing compliance and eligibility of athletes in accordance with NJCAA guidelines. The Director of Athletics represents Florida Gateway College athletic programs to prospective athletes, high schools, other departments, other colleges, and athletic associations. Additionally, the Director of Athletics will develop and monitor budgets, expenditures, and fundraising activity. The Director of Athletics reports directly to the Vice President, Student Affairs & Public Information.
Bachelor's degree, plus two years of related experience.
