ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Erie 1 BOCES is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This position will be responsible for processing accounts payable for assigned vendors and preforming various reconciliation processes. Will involve working directly with division personnel to research and resolve various issues that may arise in the processing cycle.

Minimum Civil Service Qualifications:
Must hold permanent status as Account Clerk Typist; or, be reachable on current Account
Clerk Typist Civil Service list; or, meet minimum Civil Service qualifications for provisional
appointment as follows:
A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two (2) year college or university with an Associate's degree in Accounting supplemented by a course in typing; or:
B) Completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours at a regionally accredited or New York State registered two (2) or four (4) year college or university which included sixteen (16) semester credit hours in Accounting, supplemented by a course in typing; or:
C) Graduation from high school supplemented by a course in typing, and one (1) year of experience maintaining financial records and accounts; or:
D) Five (5) years of office experience, one (1) year of which involved typing and maintenance of financial records and accounts; or:
E) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (D).
