65 Temporary, Full Time job openings (February 1, 2019 - November 30, 2019)
- Landscape work: Plant, mulch, prune, edge trimming, blowing, aeration, seeding, pull weeds/clear leaves/debris, install landscape materials, apply herbicides & fertilizer.
- Must have 3 months experience and be able to show past certification for herbicide and fertilizer application.
- Work in bending & standing positions for extended periods in all types of weather (extreme heat/cold).
- Transport to/from worksites provided.
- Upon offer of employment and prior to orientation, all applicants must be willing to submit to drug and background screening paid by the company.
- $14.32/hour (OT at $21.48/hour) minimum based on skill level.
- Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 4PM. 35 plus hours/week.
- Saturday work as needed.
- Work in Chesterfield, Richmond, Henrico and Hanover County areas.
Employer will provide at no charge all tools, equipment or supplies to perform assigned duties. Employer guarantees at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employer can assist workers with the coordination of lodging and this lodging is not mandatory. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions, except for a deduction of rent for lodging not to exceed $100.00 per week including utilities. The employer will reimburse any H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
If worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return trans and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of trans payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.26 per day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 per day with receipts.
